We keep the whole weekend clean so everyone can genuinely engage and enjoy the space.

YA Getaway is for 18–28 year olds, and we’re pretty firm on that line.
If you’re under 18 — we love the enthusiasm, but you’ll have to wait till next year.
If you’re 29 or 30 and still keen to be involved, we’d love to help you find your place in the wider church, or chat about serving/leading at Getaway.

Friends? 100% yes — we love a group tent setup.
Partner? We keep couples in separate tents. It’s counter-cultural, but it’s part of the environment and values we hold for the weekend.
It’s only three nights — and honestly, it’s an awesome chance for the girls to connect with girls and the guys with the guys.

Just pop them in when you register!
We’re super flexible and want to make sure you’re looked after — but we do need to know before Getaway so we can plan. If you forget, we might not be able to cater for it, so let us know early.

If you want to meet a few people beforehand, flick us a message and we can set that up.
Or just come along to church on a Sunday (9:45am!) and meet the crew.
Our YA community is intentional, welcoming, and really chill — you won’t be on your own for long.

Our hope is that you’re all-in. You’re investing in YA Getaway, and we’ve curated everything with intention — so we ask that you’re part of the full experience.
If something unexpected comes up, chat to us and we’ll take it case-by-case.
But overall, we want to honour everyone who’s showing up intentionally by expecting the same from each person.

We love people who are exploring — curious about faith, God, the Bible, or just the world we live in. You don’t have to have it all sorted to come.
Our young adults are all at different points in their journey, so the only thing we ask is that you respect the environment we’re creating and the faith others hold. That’s it.

Morning: brekkie + starting the day together
Afternoon: lunch, a session, activities, free time, chill zones
Evening: dinner, worship, ministry, and fun night stuff
It’s a good mix of structure, downtime, connection, games, sunshine, and space to breathe.
